In optical gas analysis, Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensors are the primary type of sensor used. These gas sensors are very sensitive to changes in environmental conditions like humidity, temperature, gas flow and air pressure. Environmental influences are compensated for by calibrating the integrated compensation mechanisms to such an extent that the gas sensor can function with the required characteristics under all conditions encountered in real-world operation. This requires the use of additional sensor components for measuring, for example, humidity, temperature, gas flow, and air pressure.
The Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG product portfolio includes thin-film and thick-film RTD temperature sensors made of platinum and nickel, thermal mass flow sensors and modules, capacitive humidity sensors, customizable humidity modules, conductivity sensors, and biosensors. These sensors are characterized by their accuracy and consistency under various measurement conditions and can be adapted to customer-specific requirements.
