From 15th to 17th November we were at the Space Tech Expo in Bremen together with Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG. A great exhibition with many exchange opportunities for new applications. Our new HIS550R-AA is a NiCr filament based thermal infrared emitter in TO39 package, with a soldered sapphire window that guarantees hermetically sealed package and long-term stability. The cap with the soldered sapphire window is tested with Helium leak test at < 10-⁸ mbar l/s. The Argon gas filling with its higher thermal resistance compared to air or nitrogen provides a higher optical output power at the same electrical input power. This features makes the HIS550R-AA ideal for testing emissions and analyze multiple gases like in the automotive industry. Find out more

For TOC Analyzers, that use NDIR technology, we offer the most powerful thermal infrared emitters in TO8 package. Our patented nanostructure allows up to 500% more emission power than comparable competitors and thanks to the soldered windows and the hermetic seal, the emitters can be placed directly on a measuring cell without an additional window, which also enables considerable savings.

It was a pleasure to present our innovtive IR emitter technology to the core technical journalists during the AMA press conference 2020 in Nürnberg. More than 50 participants have seen design examples for our new SMD devices. With the smallest thermal infrared emitter in SMD housing we are entering new high volume applications also in the consumer markets.

Being an active AMA member we take part in the innovation dialog of the sensor and measuring industry in various conferences, events and trade fairs like the SENSOR+TEST (Nuremberg), HANNOVER INDUSTRIAL FAIR, ELECTRONICA (Munich) or SIAF (Guangzhou).
On September 18th we visited the MEORGA MSR-Spezialmesse Südwest in Ludwigshafen. We had a busy day with exciting conversations about infrared gas analysis and we are looking forward to the next MEORGA on October 23rd in Landshut.
In the land of the rising sun, the focus has been on air quality for many years. At Sensors China in Shanghai from September 2 to 4, we got a first-hand impression of the innovative power in the Far East. We met exciting companies and had great conversations about the future of infrared technology. We will be back next year!
